Cora Byrn (neé Ashworth) was a White Witch and mother of Nathan Byrn.
Biography[]
History[]
She was in love with the Black Witch Marcus Edge but they couldn't be together. Yet they met once a year when it was completely safe. Later, she married Dean Byrn and had 3 children; Jessica, Deborah and Arran. Before Half Bad her last meeting with Marcus ended with a disaster and Dean was killed. Months later, she had Nathan and after the Council discovered her relationship with Marcus, they made her commit suicide. In Half Wild Marcus mentioned that she was a "good person" but except that, not much is known about her.

Cora was a good woman in every way, she was affectionate and kind, she deeply loved her lover Marcus and all her children equally, claiming that she did not care if her son Nathan was half a dark witch, she would love him just the way he is.
